An offering for a 2, 3 or 6 month intensive student intern program directed toward college age (but not restricted to) to become a catalyst for change in our ministry countries. Our summer internship program will provide a strong opportunity to experience first hand the cultural, spiritual, economical and structural ingredients of third world realities.

COSTIntern is responsible for his/her own living and other personal expenses (approx $600/mo), airfare, insurance coverage. For economic context: Living with a home-stay family would cost $200 to 300 a month and include breakfast and dinner Monday through Friday. Likewise, sharing a house with other international solidarity workers should cost roughly the same. Then $250 to 300 should cover the rest of your living expenses: additional meals, public transportation, internet café, social activities, in-country travel, etc. Intern will also be responsible for insurance protection and required to submit proof of insurance coverage prior to your arrival in Nicaragua. You may already have international coverage on your/your parent's insurance policy. |
