In January of 2007 Pastor Rip and a group of friends traveled to Nicaragua to explore the possibility of starting a relationship with a local orphanage in the Managua area of Nicaragua. That trip was only the beginning of numerous trips over the course of the next few months to discover what God was calling this small group of friends to do for the sake of the Kingdom. Inspired by the beauty and humbled by the enormous need Pastor Rip begin to hear God's call to partner with existing organizations and especially local churches in creating models of HOPE throughout Nicaragua and Central America. On November 27th. 2007 Hope House International was born, our goal is to work in the areas of Healing ministries, Opportunities to empower the Nicaraguan nationals, Forming Partnerships with others who have a similar call in their life and to Share the Gospel of Jesus Christ through Evangelistic efforts. Early in 2008 Hope House was recognized as a registered 501 C 3 not-for-profit religious organization. Since that small beginning Hope House International has been used by God to help start a home for unmarried teen girls, to work with the issues of poverty, to partner together with Nicaraguan nationals in teacher education, to share hope in local orphanages and to bring the gospel through the distribution of Holy Scriptures and preaching opportunities to areas of Nicaragua.
